Church Flowers: We are a group of ladies who decorate the church with flowers for all the church festivals (and for weddings if required). If anyone would like to come and help at those times, namely Harvest Festival, Christmas, Easter and Whitsun, they can contact me, Ann Gough, on 01460 220348 or e-mail: annpatgough@btinternet.com at any time. Previous experience of arranging flowers is not necessary. The St. Andrew's Church Flower Group are holding an Arts and Crafts Exhibition in Chardstock Community Hall over the week-end of Saturday, 31st July, and Sunday, 1st August, with a Preview Evening on Friday, 30th July. The Preview will be from 7.30 to 9.30 pm, tickets cost £3 to include a glass of wine and nibbles and are available now from Chardstock Post Office/Stores. Anyone interested in exhibiting or selling their arts and crafts may pick up an entry form from Chardstock Post Office, or contact Ann Gough on 01460 220348 (annpatgough@btinternet.com) for further details. Teas will be available during the exhibition, which will be open between 1.30 and 5 pm on the Saturday and Sunday. Proceeds from this event will go towards the St, Andrew's Church Flower Festival to be held in July 2011. More details of that later in the year.
